Meaning of loving God.

First, loving God requires knowing Him, and that knowledge begins with His Word. It may sound glib, but to know Him is to love Him.
To love God is to worship and praise Him. “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only'” (Luke 4:8). The book of Psalms provides many beautiful examples of how to worship and praise our Creator (e.g., Psalms 8, 19, 23, 24, 67, 99, 117, and 150).
To love God is to put Him first. The number-one commandment is to love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength (Mark 12:30). Its an undivided love. God is our priority. If we love God withall our hearts, souls, minds, and strength, then we wont allow other things to crowd in. Our love for God is manifested by loving people (Mark 12:31), but we do not love the things of the world. Earth has nothing I desire besides you (Psalm 73:25). We cannot love this present world and God at the same time (1 John 2:15); love for what the world offers can lead us astray (2 Timothy 4:10).
To love God is to desire Him, to yearn for His righteousness, His Word, and His grace. As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God (Psalm 42:1). Once we have tasted and seen that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8), we want more of Him. If we love God, we will be like Mary of Bethany, who sat at the Lords feet listening to what he said (Luke 10:39). If we love God, the psalmists description of the Word of God will resonate within us: [it is] more precious than gold, than much pure gold; . . . sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb (Psalm 19:10).
Suppose a man is separated from his sweetheart and receives a letter from her. His first action will be to eagerly open the letter and pore over its contents. His love for his beloved will naturally cause him to love her correspondence with him. The same is true with our love for Gods Word. Because we love the Author, we love His message to us. We read it avidly and often, we hold it close, and we hide its words in our hearts.
Finally, to love God is to obey Him. Jesus tells us, If you love me you will obey what I command (John 14:15, 23; 15:10; 1 John 5:3). However, this is not a matter of merely following rules and registering good deeds. It is about having Gods love written indelibly on our hearts. We naturally wish to please those we love. When we love God, we will want to please Him and obey His commands eagerly. I delight to do your will (Psalm 40:8).

God wants the best for us in every area of our lives. This includes relationships with boyfriends or girlfriends. We should date for fun, friendship, personality development and selection of a mate, not to be popular or for security. Don’t allow peer pressure to force you into dating situations that are not appropriate. Realize that over 50% of girls and over 40% of guys never date in high school. The Bible gives us some very clear principles to guide us in making decisions about dating.
1.
Guard your heart.
The Bible tells us to be very careful about giving our affections, because our heart influences everything else in our life.
Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life ( Proverbs 4:23).
2.
You are known by the company you keep.
We also tend to become like the company we keep. This principle is closely related to the first one and is just as important in friendships as in dating.
Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character ( 1 Corinthians 15:33).
3.
Christians should only date other Christians.
Although it is fine for Christians to have non-Christian friends, those who are especially close to our heart should be mature believers who are seeking to follow Christ with their lives.
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? ( 2 Corinthians 6:14).
4.
Is it really love?
1 Corinthians 13:4-7defines real love. Ask yourself these questions:
*.Are you patient with each other?
*.Are you kind to each other?
*.Are you never envious of each other?
*.Do you never boast to or about each other?
*.Is your relationship characterized by humility?
*.Are you never rude to each other?
*.Are you not self-seeking?
*.Are you not easily angered with each other?
*.Do you keep no record of wrongs?
*.Are you truthful with each other?
*.Do you protect each other?
*.Do you trust each other?
If you answered “yes” to the above questions, then 1 Corinthians 13says that you truly have a loving relationship. If you answered “no” to any of the above questions, then maybe you should discuss those issues with your boyfriend or girlfriend.
How far is too far?
Many students ask the question, “How far should I go on a date?” Here are some principles that will help you decide what is appropriate behavior on a date.
1.Does the situation I put myself in invite sexual immorality or help me avoid it?
1 Corinthians 6:18says to”flee from sexual immorality.”We cannot do this if we are tempting ourselves through carelessness.
2.What kind of reputation does my potential date have?
When you accept a date you are essentially saying, “My values are the same as your values.” That in itself can put you in a position you may regret later. Remember 1 Corinthians 15:33,”Bad company corrupts good character.”
3.Will there be any pressure to use alcohol or drugs?
Don’t give up your values for a date.
4.Am I attracting the wrong type of person?
Make sure that the message you send with your actions doesn’t attract people who will lead you to compromise your values.
5.Am I aware that sin is first committed in the heart?
Matthew 5:28says,”But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfullyhas already committed adulterywith her in his heart.”
6.Are you going to the right kind of place for a date?
Many good intentions have been forgotten because the temptation and opportunity were too great.
7.Am I doing anything to encourage sexual desire?
Don’t engage in any impure contact that is sexually motivated, such as petting.
If you have already gone too far, why stop?
1.
God is forgiving.
1 John 1:9tells us that God is faithful and just to forgive our sins if we confess them. You can start fresh with God anytime you want to.
2.
God is holy.
His word tells us that sexual sin is wrong, and He knows what is best.
3.
God is caring.
God knows that going too far before marriage tends to break up couples and leads to less happy marriages. He knows that most guys do not want to marry a girl who has been intimate with someone else.

LET LOVE REIGN

Why did our Maker created us with two hands? I think because he want us to exert the same force he hath for us; Love. He want us to carry each other hands and live peacefully therewith. And the bible verse added; ‘and now i will show you the most excellent way. …Love is patient, Love is kind, it doesn’t envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, IT IS NOT SELF-SEEKING,…It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres….[1 cor. 13:1-7, truncated]. And God himself initiated the Love first for the fallen Adam, ages of generations, through his son, for Christians, …. Always be move to affect other peoples’ live than yours. [1cor. 10:24, 33]. Jesus set the same example at the cross when he willingly law down his life that all may go in. [john 15:12,13]. LOVE NEVER FAILS, IF WE LIVE A LIFE VOID OF THIS UNIT, WE AMOUNT TO NOTHING.

DEAD TO THE WORLD.

May i never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and i to the world. Gal. 6:14.
The reason for which i have to live is for the saviour, the life i want to live is not to gratify the desires of the flesh nor conform to the affairs of worldly passion.
One thing i know is that God created the creatures, it will be folly to worship the creation instead of the Creator–God. When we take part in the gospel of the cross, we will fully adopt the heavenly lifestyle and ofcourse crucify the worldly desires (which is vanity)

WHAT THIS WORLD NEED

What this world needs is not another one hit wonder with an axe to grind
Another two bit politician peddling lies
Another three ring circus society
What this world needs is not another sign waving super saint that’s better than you
Another ear pleasing candy man afraid of the truth
Another prophet in an Armani suit
What this world needs is a Savior who will rescue
A Spirit who will lead
A Father who will love them in their time of need
A Savior who will rescue
A Spirit who will lead
A Father who will love
That’s what this world needs
What this world needs is for us to care more about the inside than the outside
Have we become so blind that we can’t see
God’s gotta change her heart before He changes her shirt
What this world needs is for us to stop hiding behind our relevance
Blending in so well that people can’t see the difference
And it’s the difference that sets the world free
Jesus is our Savior, that’s what this world needs
Father’s arms around you, that’s what this world needs
That’s what this world need

First chapter of John.

John 1:1-18.
In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4. In him was life and the life was the light of men. 5. And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.
6. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believed on his name. 13. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14. And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father), full of grace and truth.
15. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, “This was he whom i spake, ‘He that cometh after me is preferred before me, for he was before me’ “. 16. And of his fulness have all we received , and grace for grace. 17. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus. 18. No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
